Storage Environment
LiFePO4 batteries should be stored indoor with a dry and clean environment at 0 ℃~35 ℃(32℉~95℉).
Avoiding contact with corrosive substances and staying away from fire and heat source.
Regular Charging
The LiFePO4 batteries should be charged and discharged every 6 months. The SOC for storage is between 30% ~ 50%.
As LiFePO4 batteries are affected by low temperatures, so in the winter months need to pay special attention to the ambient temperature of the batteries.
LiFePO4 battery in low-temperature environment power drops quickly, need to pay close attention to the batteries’s voltage, try to charge before they run out. To extend the life cycle of your batteries, charge it regularly.
Cleaning
Corrosion and dirt can cause a battery to lose power faster, thus reducing its life, so it’s important to keep the LiFePO4 batteries clean. You can use a mixture of water and baking soda for gentle cleaning.
